How a 30-year relationship became a 17-year commitment
The best client relationships aren't built on a single deal — they're built over decades.
When Wildeboer Dellelce, a preeminent Bay Street law firm, set out to turn its office real estate into a branding and talent advantage, Aura was the obvious choice — a relationship three decades in the making. The firm wanted more than space; it wanted an office that would strengthen its brand and give it an edge in recruiting and retaining top talent in a competitive market.
Drawing on deep market access, Aura conducted an exhaustive 18-month search of viable opportunities, then ran a competitive RFP process that kept the firm firmly in the driver's seat. The process surfaced an exceptional result: a fully renovated character building with a rare ground-floor space.
That space — a one-of-a-kind banking hall — now anchors the firm's client-facing identity, a recruiting and branding asset no glass tower could replicate. And by leveraging post-COVID market dislocation, we secured tenant-favourable economics that allowed the firm to expand its footprint by roughly 15,000 sq ft while keeping per-head costs in check.
